Port Wine

Port wine is a fortified wine produced exclusively in Portugal’s Douro Valley. It is made by adding grape spirit (brandy) during fermentation, which stops the process early, preserving the wine’s natural sweetness and boosting its alcohol content. This results in a full-bodied, rich, and sweet wine with notes of dark berries, caramel, nuts, and spices. Port is often enjoyed as a dessert wine and comes in several styles, including Ruby, Tawny, White, and Vintage.
